SCUBA dives to install and service marine acoustic telemetry equipment during behavioral studies on inshore and or pelagic fishes.Assists with the maintenance of acoustic telemetry receivers recording animal tracking data.Coordinates with Ocean Tracking Network collaborators to ensure timely and accurate integration of PIRAT Network data into the OTN Database.Coordinates with PIRAT Network members to ensure timely submission of telemetry data.Tracks and resolves issues using GitLab.Assists with management of an acoustic telemetry (animal tracking) database (upload, QA/QC).Continuation of position is subject to satisfactory work performance, program needs, availability of funds, and meeting the eligibility requirements of the assistantship.
